    Description

    This course focuses on the managemetn of common acute and chronic health problems of infants, children, and adolescents and their families in primary health care settings. Emphasis is placed on assessment and implementation of culturally competent interventions for individuals. Using principles of evidence-based practice, students analyze clinical practice, identify an actual or potential problem and summarize best-practice evidence. 45 hours of clinical practice included. Co- or Prerequisite: NURS 5320 Nursing Research.
