    Description

    This course focuses on the management of common acute and chronic health problems of young, mid-life, and elderly adults in primary health care settings. Emphasis is placed on assessment and implementation of culturally competent interventions for individuals. Using priinciples of evidence-based practice, students analyze clinical practice, identify an actual or potential problem and summarize best-practice evidence. 45 hours of clinical practice included. Co- or Prerequisite: NURS 5320 Nursing Research.
