This portlet is used by the JICS Administrator to create combinations of divisions and majors (identified in the ERP system) and to set up assignments.
In CRM Candidate, you can specify the persons to whom to send emails concerning a requested contact or visit initiated by the Candidate. Then when a Candidate makes a request via the Community Connection page, an email is sent to the Admissions Administrator assigned to the division/major combination.
In CRM Admissions Officer, you can allow Admissions Officers and Counselors to search for Candidates within the specified division and major combination.
Create Division and Major/Program Combinations
Click the Create the division and major/program combinations link on the Division and Major Assignment portlet.
On the Division/Major and Program Assignment screen, select the division you want to work with from the Division drop-down list. The divisions are listed alphabetically, and there is no division selected by default.
Select or clear the check box(es) beside the major/program you want to add to the selected division. You can also select all majors/programs.
Save.
Assign Admissions Personnel to Division/Major Combinations
Click the Assign admission administrators to division/major combinations link on the Division and Major Assignment portlet.
On the Division/Major and User Assignment screen, select the appropriate person you want to work with from the Admissions Personnel drop-down list. The list contains all personnel specified by the Is Displayed in User Dropdown global operation defined by the JICS Administrator. The personnel are listed alphabetically by first name, and there is no person selected by default.
Select or clear the check box(es) beside the division/major you want to assign to the selected person. You can also select all combinations.
Save.
