The Health Services Center is located in Suite 310 in the Mabee Student Center. The Health Services Center shares the suite with the Robert and Linda Black Center for Counseling and Testing.
The center is staffed by registered nurse, Debbie Rosenberger (Nurse Debbie), who is Board Certified in College Health.
The Health Services Center is open from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. No appointment is necessary. The services are free except for a minimum charge for certain vaccinations.
Nurse Debbie has access to many resources. She can direct you to free or low-cost medical services if you are without health insurance. If you need assistance with locating a dentist, pharmacy or other qualified medical professional in our area, she can help you make that connection or direct you to providers.
The Health Services Center also has insurance forms from a variety of companies, along with CHIP applications if you are under age 19 and require health insurance.
The Health Services Center has information on medical conditions in addition to materials promoting physical, mental and spiritual wellness.
In the spring, the Health Services Center organizes Health Quest, a health fair of medical and health services providers who conduct evaluations such as Body Mass Index, vision, blood pressure and glucose screenings. Along with aerobics and fitness demonstrations, massages, product samples, door prizes and lots of freebies are provided.
